TAB Teardrop Campers are manufactured by nüCamp RV in Sugarcreek, Ohio in the heart of Ohio’s Amish Country. nüCamp RV is a Pleasant Valley Teardrop Trailer company that was founded in 2005 as a boutique teardrop camper manufacturer. Pleasant Valley’s early focus was on manufacturing vintage teardrop campers reminiscent of the home-built teardrop campers from the 1930s and ’40s.
Pleasant Valley’s humble beginnings in a small manufacturing facility have led to a large and modern state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in the rolling hills of Sugarcreek, Ohio, where the company employs skilled craftsmen and women who are dedicated to producing the highest quality teardrop campers and other recreational vehicle products available in the United States. nüCamp RV is also the manufacturer of the TAG Teardrop Trailer and the Cirrus Truck Camper and, until April 2017, produced the Little Guy Teardrop Trailer, the Silver Shadow Teardrop, and the myPod Trailer by Little Guy.
In 2010 Pleasant Valley Teardrop Trailers reached an agreement with Dutchmen Manufacturing to acquire the rights to produce and sell the TAB Teardrop Camper. This unique RV product has long been a favorite of RVers worldwide, and Pleasant Valley found a ready market for this product. Pleasant Valley distributed this product through Little Guy Worldwide until April 2017, at which time Pleasant Valley began distributing this product directly from the factory through a network of recreational vehicle dealers across the United States.
In 2016 Pleasant Valley Teardrop Trailers launched the nüCamp RV brand, which will eventually replace the Pleasant Valley Teardrop Trailers brand. This new brand better reflects the company’s vision and plan to bring the same dedication to quality construction and innovative design with which it has been associated as a boutique manufacturer of teardrop campers. The launch of the much anticipated TAB 400 in the winter of 2017 is the first step in the company’s plan to release a full-size travel trailer at the end of 2017. Like the Cirrus Truck Camper, the yet-to-be-named travel trailer will be innovative in design and will be built with the same commitment to quality and craftsmanship as all of the products manufactured by nüCamp RV.
