Cirrus Truck Camper: A Series, Pt. 1

If you’re in the market for a truck camper, there’s a good chance you’ve probably seen the Cirrus Truck Camper. Unlike other truck campers in the industry, the Cirrus is glitzy. It’s glamorous, tough, and durable. It’s a truck camper enthusiast’s dream. You get what you pay for… and that’s one heck-of-a truck camper. You may have heard that what is considered an option for most campers, the Cirrus Truck Camper comes with it in the standard, base package. In other words, it’s fully loaded. So – WHAT is in the Cirrus Truck Camper that makes it so special? In this mini-series, I’m going to dive into one particular area of the Cirrus 920 Truck Camper and highlight its [unique and awesome] features.

Cirrus Truck Camper Features: Dinette

Long day of camping? Need to sit down and satisfy your hunger? Maybe watch a movie? Good news. You can do all that and more in the dinette of your Cirrus Truck Camper. Without further ado, let’s take a look it.

• Two-Person, Face-to-Face Dinette

Maybe you’re camping with a significant other, friend, or maybe you just want to prop up your feet while you eat. The dinette in the Cirrus Truck Camper has more than enough room to fit and a plus one – comfortably. Eating is one of the most important activities in my life, so I HAD to test the dinette to make sure it was everything it was hyped out to be. T’was.

• Fold-Down, Overhead Cabinetry

How much storage is too much storage? The limit does not exist – especially when camping. The Cirrus Truck Camper has TONS of storage. Located right above the dinette is overhead cabinetry that folds down [into a bunk bed]. How about that for forward-thinking innovation?

• 12V/USB Outlets

Laptops. Phones. Bluetooth speakers. Power banks. Cameras. Smart watches. What’s one thing these all have in common? They need charged to work properly. Luckily, there’s plenty of 12V/USB outlets in the Cirrus Truck Camper, including the dinette. There’s no reason any of your gadgets shouldn’t be charged every morning. We got you covered.

• Overhead LED Lights

It’s 2017 – it’s time to ditch the lantern. The Cirrus 920 has overhead LED lighting right above the kitchen and dinette… I’m convinced the lighting is better in the truck camper than in my apartment. It’s just that good. (Click the photo to the right to get an up-close look at the lights. I dimmed the interior of the Cirrus so you could better see the overhead LED lights.)

• Entertainment Center with Storage

When I first stepped inside the Cirrus 920 Truck Camper, one of the first things I noticed was the re-positioning of the entertainment center. If you remember in the Cirrus 820, the TV was in a custom, swing-out cabinet in the cabover. Now, the 28″ TV is right above the dinette and comes with PLENTY of storage. If you read my first post about the Cirrus 920, you’ll remember how I said I could probably fit in the entertainment center’s storage. While some may disagree, I’m still confident I could fit (maybe I’ll put it to the test and write an article on that later).
