Preparing your camper for winter

As you wrap up your camping season, you’ll want to start thinking about winterizing your camper.

With the change in seasons comes colder weather. Freezing temperatures can take a toll on your camper’s plumbing system. It’s important to keep an eye on your region’s forecast and plan your winterization accordingly. Waiting too late to winterize your camper can cause avoidable damage.

Winterization can be broken down into three segments: 1. Drain all the plumbing. 2. Blow out all the lines with compressed air to remove any leftover moisture. 3. Add antifreeze to the water system to protect the plumbing.

To help you prepare for the winter, we created step-by-step videos walking you through the winterization process. If you have any questions, please reach out to our Technical Support Team at tech@nucamprv.com. Thank you for being a part of the nuCamp family!
